Junior Interior Designer, Manhattan
Boutique Architectural Design Company specializing in mid-level to high end residential and commercial design located in Midtown Manhattan seeks Junior Interior Designer. Qualified candidate would be highly motivated with experience in working on residential and commercial projects including finishes, FF&E packages, and basic interior and exterior construction details. Candidate should understand the quality of space and be able to handle laying out a functional room or space on their own. Candidates should have an excitement and drive for good design, detailing, excellent communication skills, material researching, and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. They should be self reliant and independent. The candidate must be highly creative and love to design. This is not a decorator position; candidate should have architecture and interior design experience.
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years working experience
- Professional Degree
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Adobe CS Suite & Microsoft Office Suite
- 3D Modeling Software and Rendering
- Model building
- Coordination work with Vendors, Contractors
- Experience in interior office design and knowledge of office furniture and basic office standards.
